THÉ LAU - JULIETTE (2014)
ABOUT THE BOOK
Robbie Morris wants to leave the artists’ village Bergen, which thrives on gossip, slander, and jealousy.
One day he meets the stunning photographer Juliette at a party. Together they move to Amsterdam where Robbie finds work as an artist for the biggest newspaper in the Netherlands, under the care of the flamboyant journalist Breukhout. Robbie is now finally living the life he’d always dreamed of. But the temptations of this life turn out to have a downside as well… Juliette is a bittersweet coming-of-age novel about the desire for something greater, and the price you’re willing to pay for that.
