ELKE GEURTS - I STILL DO (2017)
ABOUT THE BOOK
‘I don’t love you anymore’. With these words her husband walks out of her life. The new reality feels like a dream, also because they still see each other every day; they’ve got two young daughters, share a house and a 24-year-old relationship. All is not lost, she keeps thinking, while she watches the dream come true, slowly but steadily.
I still do is the moving account of a family falling apart. Geurts’ prose is loving and funny, but always unrelenting.
